When installing a new high amperage alternator, it’s essential to ensure proper voltage delivery. 

Using a stock battery may cause voltage drop, which can affect alternator performance.

To prevent this, use a strong battery, proper wiring, and a good ground. We recommend 0 gauge wire and a smaller belt as each alternator comes with an overdrive pulley that’s smaller than the factory pulley. With the correct installation, you can ensure optimal alternator performance.

Whether your vehicle is old or new, we offer both small and large case hairpin options, rather than just building a slot wound style like our competitors.

Machining/Interchanges

Even if your vehicle doesn’t come with hairpin alternators as OE, we have the expertise to custom machine and cut brackets to fit your exact mounting bracket measurements, ensuring the best hairpin technology is utilized for ultimate reliability.

We’ve invested thousands of hours in designing the best technology for the market, including milling OEM housings to fit new stator/rotors, CNC cut ears/mounts for a perfect bolt-up like a stock alternator, and custom 3D printed plugs for seamless installation.

By upgrading from slot wound to hairpin technology, we can build custom alternators ranging from 320 to 400 amps, depending on the vehicle. Upgrade your ride with our cutting-edge custom alternators and experience the ultimate in power and reliability.

Overdrive Pulleys

We install overdrive pulleys on ALL of our alternators, requiring a shorter belt unless your vehicle has a manual tensioner. We match your pulley and belt rib count unless specified otherwise, allowing for easy installation as our pulleys are spaced to align with your OEM belt system. If necessary, we use lower or higher groove count pulleys to match other belt systems/ribs, which typically happens if your factory pulley has a large blank spacing from the housing to grooves. Installation instructions will provide any additional directions.

Computer Bypassed Plugs/Extension Harnesses

We strive for the best performance possible for your electrical/audio system, which is why we’ve created adapter harnesses to bypass your vehicle’s computer control. This ensures a strong, healthy 14.8V set-point that won’t be lowered by the computer, preventing common issues where the computer shuts off the alternator until certain accessories are turned on, such as headlights or A/C. We’ve designed the adapter harnesses to plug in from the alternator to your factory plug, with no cutting, splicing, or hard-wiring required. This solution eliminates the worry of the computer putting a lower set-point on your system and prevents it from shutting off your alternator. However, this may turn on a battery light or error code, which we’ll inform you about. While rare, this may happen on certain vehicles.
